Sofia is thrilled and humbled to participate in a workshop of The Mothers of Kherson by composer, Maxim Kolomiiets and librettist & American playwright, George Brant at the Metropolitan Opera.

Sofia will portray the role of Dasha, one of the opera’s three mothers braving war zones to rescue her child.

The work will premiere at the Metropolitan Opera in 2027, with soprano Erin Morley debuting the same role.
